Location & Transportation

Going on foot from Casa Orioles it is quite easy to reach the many splendid buildings in Palermo: the Royal Norman Palace, the Palatine Chapel, the Cathedral, on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the main road leading to the old Port of Cala and Piazza Marina.
Directions	From the airport of Palermo-Punta Raisi “Falcone e Borsellino”: (about 30 Km, 45 min trip): by train (frequency 1 hour) getting off at the “Orleans Station” you can walk in five minutes to the B&B; by bus (frequency 30 min) getting off either at Piazza Politeama or at Piazza Giulio Cesare (main Railway Station) you can walk in 15 min to the B&B (taxi and city buses also available, direction Cathedral); From the Port, from the main Railway Station, from the Highways use any city map to reach the Cathedral.
